Since his first summer job in the building industry in 1981, Erik Zimmerman has created over a hundred thousand square feet of custom homes, developed residential subdivisions and renovated over a hundred homes from Monument Avenue in Richmond to the Oceanfront of Virginia Beach. Erik Homes was recently awarded 2012 Residential Site of the Year by the City of Virginia Beach. Erik is a member of local, state and national Home Builder Associations. He has served on the board for the Peninsulas Home Builder Association, he is an active member and contributor to local non-profits like Vanguard Landing and Seton House, an active member of First Presbyterian Church, president of his Virginia Beach neighborhood civic league and a proud graduate of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Erik resides in Virginia Beach with his wife Deane and their children Lucy Gage, Thorne, Gunnar and Tate.
Lisa joined Erik Homes in April 2013 after ten years with a local residential builder/developer and nearly twenty years with two Fortune 500 companies where she held management positions in such fields as commercial real estate finance, automotive manufacturing, and quality control. She graduated from Duquesne University with a B.A. in Economics and earned her M.B.A. in Finance and Strategic Planning from The University of Pittsburgh.
With over 250 homes built, Joe specializes in construction management, client relationships and quality controls. In the construction industry since1984, Joe has solid knowledge of what it takes to work with multiple crews to be sure each Erik Home is built within a strict timetable, while always keeping the main focus on customer satisfaction. Joe has additional training and experience in construction safety and code requirements and is committed to keeping our customers informed.
Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Art, University of Queensland, Australia. Current Chief Financial Officer of Heritage Woodworks, Erik Homes and Smith Interiors. Daniel is responsible for maintaining the financial transparency between the Client, the Company and all the Vendors. His high sense of ethics and determination keep all our projects successful.

With past experience spent as an operations manager, executive secretary and executive assistant, Kay knows how to keep our office fluidly running. She is directly responsible for maintaining Transparency between the Client and all the Team Members.
Hampden-Sydney Class of 2013 B.A. English, Sigma Tau Delta English Honors Society. He is determined, meticulous and has a “hands-on” mentality, making sure each job is completed ahead of schedule and going above and beyond our customer expectations.
Daniel is experienced in managing a variety of construction teams and projects. With past positions held in commercial construction as both a Project Manager and Project Foreman, Daniel has managed jobs from Nevada to Puerto Rico and knows how to push a team to meet his deadline. His main focuses are staying on schedule and maintaining quality communication between the office and the job sites.
